According to the new book, former vice president Kamala Harris engaged in the “Dark Art Operation” to undercut other potential running peers for former President Joe Biden in the 2020 election.
The book “Battle: Inner Battles in the Wild Battle for the White House,” published April 1 by William Moreau and Company, claims that Harris spread unfavourable information about the picks of other Biden’s vice presidents.
“When she beat a busy field to join Biden’s ticket in 2020, Harris Advisor runs a Dark Arts operation to undermine the competition and circulates negative information about her rival,” writes Jonathan Allen of NBC News and Jonathan Allen of Hill’s Amy Perns.
Tensions have been reportedly heightened between the Biden White House and the Harris campaign: “Too much for their emotions.”

Specifically, the book picked out Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass, former U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice, former Democratic candidate for Georgia gubernatorial Stacey Abrams, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
“We stabed Karen Bass a little, Susan Rice a little, Stacey Abrams a little,” one adviser said of his efforts four years ago. “We stabbed Gretchen Whitmer.”
The book did not dig into the details Harris took to undercut the enemy as he vieed for the enemy’s nomination.
However, there was no action taken by Harris that did not undermine enough relationships to stop her from supporting her in the 2024 election.
Bass backed Harris, with both Whitmer and Abrams appearing at the Harris campaign event in 2024. Additionally, Rice defended Harris in July. In an interview with CNN, Rice described the comment as “incredibly insulting.”
Kamala Harris asked for his support, so he was “very frustrated” with Obama, the book revealed.

The “Battle” documented how President Donald Trump secured the White House in his second term. Allen and Parnes conducted interviews with more than 150 political insiders for the book, according to the book’s description.
The book also details how former President Barack Obama was vigilant about supporting Harris in the 2024 election on Biden amid concerns about his mental fitness. Similarly, the book shares Obama doubted Biden’s political capabilities when race was dragged over.
