Los Angeles police detectives are seeking the public’s help in finding several suspects linked to repeated hate crimes against transgender women in the city’s Westlake area.
The agency released photos of the three suspects on Monday, hoping to identify the man. Detectives also said there may be additional casualties they hoped to move forward.
Earlier this month, one of the suspects allegedly sexually assaulted a 61-year-old woman after refusing to make progress within the Westlake store, LAPD officials said in a news release. When she discovered she was transgender, the suspect said, “stricken him away and threatened to kill the victim.”
The second and third suspects are being sought by LAPD in connection with an attack on a woman in Westlake.

However, the suspects later returned to the location several times with additional people, and they together “convicted a hate crime against the victim,” the release said.
Once, they smacked her on a skateboard. Another time, they scattered her, officers said. Recently, she threw some kind of liquid at some kind of woman, and another person tried to surprise her with a taser.
