Five people were arrested in connection with a July shooting in Vale Vista’s unconsolidated Riverside County community, authorities said.
Deputies at Hemet Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the 24,000 block of Balestrieri Road around 6:22am on July 19th, after residents reported two vehicles had been hit by a fire, according to Sergeant Matthew Cramer of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. No injuries have been reported.
Video surveillance reviewed by investigators showed that a shooting occurred earlier that morning at 2:47am, capturing a white Dodge charger in the area. Deputies identified the registered owner of the vehicle as the family of Stephanie White, 44, of Colton.
Authorities allegedly said that White and her daughter, Alexis White, 26, of Colton, harassed the victims messages and threats, including firearms, before the shooting. Investigators determined that Alexis was in the area when the shooting took place.

On August 7, representatives from multiple units, including the Major Crime Bureau, Rural Crime Team, Special Enforcement Bureau and Hemet Special Enforcement Team, served as search warrants at Colton’s residence belonging to Stephanie and Alexis White. Four individuals were detained during the surgery: Stephanie White, 18, of Colton, Alexis White, Elijah Harro, and Edwin Alfaro, 42, of Los Angeles. Lawmakers reported seized firearms, magazines, ammunition and unregistered attack rifles.
Through further investigation, authorities identified the fifth suspect, Isaiah Haro, 20, of Peris. A search warrant, carried out in the 1000 block of Navajo Road in Perris, led to Halo’s arrest, and it was reported that the recovery of the semi-automatic pistol was stolen from San Bernardino.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said Alexis White had been booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of assistance and harassment. Stephanie White, Alfaro and Elijah Haro have been booked on multiple weapons-related charges. Isaiah Haro was booked at the COIS Bird Detention Center on suspicion of shooting in the vacant vehicle, felony Vandalism, and committed a felony with firearms, possession of a stolen firearm and illegal shooting.
The investigation is underway. Anyone with information will be urged to contact Ryan Weber’s Deputy Bureau at Hemet Sheriff’s Station, (951) 791-3400.
