A few hours of heavy rain will cause mud and debris to flow overnight along the Pacific Coast Expressway in Malibu and Palisade Drive in Palisade in the Pacific Ocean.
The video, around 3am, showed a landslide blocking the northbound side of PCH on Big Rock Road, Malibu.

The crew helped remove debris using bulldozers, leaving the highway temporarily closed the area.
Meanwhile, water and mud flows over K-rails installed along the Palisade, about a mile north of Sunset Boulevard in Palisade, in the Pacific Ocean.

It is also closed on Malibu’s Carbon Beach Terrace at PCH between Chautauqua Boulevard in Los Angeles. The area had just reopened earlier in the week, but was closed again in anticipation of possible debris flow.

Authorities said PCH stretches could open late today, but the shower is expected to continue throughout the morning hours.
Yesterday, new U.S. Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin toured the Palisades Fire Burn Zone to assess progress in debris removal and recovery efforts.
