Hubed Eagle parents Jackie and Shadow are working on parenting responsibilities, but their two brand new chicks are still unknown.
Friends from Big Bear Valley, which runs a 24/7 live stream on Bald Eagle Family’s Nest, held a naming contest for the two eagles on Friday.
In exchange for a name suggestion, the nonprofit is asking for small donations. You can suggest one name for $5. You can suggest three for $10 and 10 for $25.

The chick’s gender is not yet known, so Big Bear Valley friends are demanding a gender neutrality proposal. The deadline for proposing a name is Friday, March 28th at 11:59pm.
On April 1st, third, fourth and fifth grade students at Big Bear Elementary School will vote for a randomly selected group of finalists via secret voting. That night, friends from Big Bear Valley announce the winners on social media platforms.
Two surviving chicks are named through the contest. The chick, who sadly died in the recent blizzard, was named Misty after a former friend of Big Bear Valley Katy Mr., who lost his life to cancer.
Those who wish to donate to suggest names can do so at this link.
