Their loved ones were devastated after their Southern California father was shot dead at a 7-Eleven store in Lawndale.
On July 27, Los Angeles County Councilman responded to the 7-Eleven store in the 15,800 block of Prairie Avenue just after 8pm.
The victim, George Victoriano, 34, had bought it when the male suspect entered the store. For reasons that are still unknown, investigators said the man was caught up in the debate before the suspect fired.
On arrival, lawmakers found George suffering from a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the scene. The suspect escaped from the store in a runaway car.
George’s wife, Kaley, recalls the panic she felt when her husband was told she was shot.
“I just dropped everything I had and ran as fast as I could, and by then it was already too late,” she told KTLA’s Lindsay Pena.

Kaylee believes her husband is targeted and the shooter is a long-standing problem neighbor.
She said the first argument they had was on top of the parking on the streets in their neighborhood. The tense conflict escalated over time, and they reported him to law enforcement on multiple occasions.
“They thought it was a very small issue because it was just a neighbourial conflict, but it was more than that,” she said. “I’ve complained many times, but no one has listened to me until now.”
As detectives continue to search for gunmen, Kaley says he hopes he will be caught just before he harms anyone else.
“They know who he is,” she said. “They know where he is and they’re just looking for him. He’s got away. It’s just a waiting game at this point.”
George leaves behind four young children. Kaley said she is worried about how she will provide her child amidst the heartbreak of losing her husband.
“How are you going to pay rent and pay your bills,” she said. “I might have to move, and it puts me in a really sticky situation.”
She said she missed the laughter of her husband and the joy he brought to her family. Authorities have not identified the suspect as they continue to investigate the lawsuit.
