The Hit and Run driver remains on a massive scale after plunging into a group of Boyle Heights bikes.

The incident occurred on February 25th, with around 15 bikes being handed out red cards near Mariachi Plaza during a planned event.

The red card informs you of immigrant rights and how to exercise them when interacting with immigration authorities.

Shortly before 8pm, surveillance video was filmed the moment the female driver approached the group and began knocking the rider down from behind.

“We were hit by a woman in the car,” recalled a biker who didn’t want to be identified. “One minute I’m on my bike, and the next minute I’m on the pavement.”

At least four riders were attacked and one victim was thrown into the suspect’s windshield. The other riders threw their bikes at the car to stop the driver, but the woman continued to plow the group.

“I remember looking up, I saw the side of her car flying beside her head,” the victim said. “The two riders could describe her as a white woman with a shaved head. They said she seemed on her phone and she looked pretty angry.”

The suspect escaped from the scene and left the rider who was moderately to seriously injured.

“The most injured rider, he was taken to the emergency room,” the victim said. “He suffered from head injuries and bleeding. He was in shock so he didn’t even know what happened. He couldn’t walk well. My knee is very injured. Another girl, she couldn’t feel her left arm.”

The victims submitted police reports and were able to capture a clear image of the woman’s car. Her car is considered to be a 2016 four-door aia sedan with license plate number 8GAN606.

The bike said it’s unclear whether Hit-and-Run is a targeted attack, but hopes the suspect will be caught soon.

“We understand that there is a place for people to go, but we don’t need an angry driver,” the victim said. “Especially when we were trying to do something healthy like riding a bike. We didn’t follow the law. We were following all the bike laws. We had people with safety vests.”

Anyone with information about the suspect is encouraged to call the Los Angeles Police Department at 1-877-527-3247. Anonymous tips can be provided to LA Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at lacrimestoppers.org.
