The suspect was arrested in Hit and Rank Rush, who killed an elderly woman and her dog in Pacoima.
The suspect has been identified as Marquez, 31, of Pacoima, 31, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
On August 4th, the victim was walking with the dog and was driving down the road when he was hit by a driver near Osborne and Haddon Streets around 8:10pm
The driver didn’t stop to check on the victim, so he vomited. The woman was declared dead at the scene by emergency services. She was only identified as a woman in the mid-70s. Her dog was severely injured and later died of injuries.

Investigators identified Marquez as a major suspect, and on August 5 he was arrested for causing a felony blow and death. He is being held on $30,000 bail.
“A driver will remember that if they are involved in a crash, they will need to immediately stop and notify emergency services, stay on the scene and identify themselves,” a LAPD official said. “Pedestrians also remind us to use crosswalks when crossing the streets and do so safely so that they do not pose any danger to the vehicle.”
