The Hit and Run suspect was arrested in the wrong collision while leaving a bicycle hospitalized in Orange County.
The suspect was identified as 22-year-old Christian Diaz of West Covina, according to the Fullerton Police Department.
On July 22, police responded to a crash near South Harbour Boulevard and West Orangethorpe Avenue around 1:30pm
Surveillance video captured the moment the 31-year-old man was riding his bike when the suspect Dodge Challenger made a U-turn and crashed him straight ahead and slammed him into the air while driving on the other side of the road.

The suspect fled the scene and left the man lying on the road. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and was later released. Investigators believe the manipulation is intentional.
Police later identified Diaz as the suspect’s driver and was arrested on July 30 for attempted murder. No further details have been made public as the case is under investigation.
