Hollywood’s Ice Cube Cement Legacy announces upcoming tours

It was a good day for the Music Mogul Ice Cube.

The Los Angeles native is part of Hollywood’s history after dipping his hands and feet in cement outside the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

His family, including his son, actor Osthea Jackson Jr., actor Mike Epps and fellow rapper WC, were present in honor of his own.

“Like my father is known for his iconic scowl, our family is filled with more laughs than most people,” Jackson Jr. told the crowd. “He and my mother both loved laughing, and we passed it on to our kids, and we kept that tradition alive.

Cube, whose real name is O’Shea Jackson, took him to the microphone.

“I know a lot of people are on walks of fame, but true movie stars are in front of (TCL) Chinese theatres,” he said before thanking his fans and supporters. “Thank you to everyone who listened to the young man in Southern Los Angeles.

He then told KTLA 5 that honor was “more than dreams come true.”

“This is bigger than a dream. It’s like something I think will never happen to you,” he explained.

Ice Cube’s fourth-year career spans music, film and sports with his hit albums, a billion-dollar box office franchise and his groundbreaking big three basketball league.

The West Coast hip hop pioneer grew up in southern Los Angeles. He first entered the scene in the ’80s as part of the hip-hop group NWA. They are considered one of the founders of the gangsta rap subgenre and are one of the greatest and most influential groups in hip hop music.

In 2015 he served as executive producer of the biopic about the group, “Straight Outta Compton.”

In the early 90s he appeared in films like John Singleton’s “Boys and the Hood.” In 1995 he co-written and starred in the first film of the “Friday” film, born into the successful franchise in the 2000s “Next Friday” and 2002’s “Friday After Next.”

During the ceremony, he mocked that a fourth film, entitled “Last Friday,” was in work.

He also starred in popular films such as The Players Club, the Barbershop series, Three Kings, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, and Ride Alow.

In addition to his great honor, Cube has announced that for over a decade he will be visiting the road for his first coast-to-coast tour. The “Power to Truth: 40 Years of Attitude” tour begins on September 4th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Cube will walk the road to the West Coast for a show at the Crypto.com Arena on September 28th.

General sales tickets will be available local time on April 18th at 10am on icecube.com. The exclusive fan club pre-sale will begin on April 16th at 10am local time.
