Border Emperor Tom Homan defended sending “designated terrorists” to prisons like El Salvador, saying that “travesties” he saw during his decades-long career in border security justifies the Trump administration’s moves.
Homan appeared on ABC “This Week” in a pre-recorded interview that aired Sunday. He was asked what concern he had about sending people to the infamous Centre for Terrorist Confinement (CECOT) in El Salvador, even if he had no criminal history.
“If people have worn my shoes for the past 40 years and seen the travelie I saw, they will understand that we have the worst to send to such prisons because we were able to protect American citizens,” Homan said. “We’ve come to protect this country.”
Homan said his 40 years of experience working in border security informed his beliefs.

“What you don’t know, what most readers don’t know, they’ve seen and never experienced what I’ve seen in my 40 years,” Homan told ABC’s Jonathan Carle.
“I spoke to nine youngest young girls who were raped by members of these gang cartels,” Homan continued. “I had been carrying bodies throughout my career. I spoke to 100 mothers. The angel mom and father killed the child and were brutally murdered by members of MS-13 who didn’t kill them.

A Democrat with Senator Chris Van Hollen from Maryland flew to El Salvador last week to meet with the illegal alien Kilmer Abrego Garcia who was deported.

Trump officials say they claim Abrego Garcia was removed correctly and that he is a member of the infamous MS-13 gang, but Democrats claim that when he is allegedly a member of the gang, he was deported without justice.
