Homeland Security Secretary Christi Noem met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday evening.
Noem met the Israeli leader in Jerusalem, where he expressed his “strong gratitude for the Prime Minister’s policies, particularly for the construction of border fences with Egypt and the ongoing acts of war.”
Others who attended the meeting were Major General Roman Goffman, the secretary of the Israeli military. Dr. Ophiel Faul Faulk, Foreign Policy Advisor. Dr. Omar Dostri, spokesman for the Prime Minister. Mike Huckabee, US ambassador to Israel.

Earlier that day, Netanyahu met with Senator Jackie Rosen (D-NV).
“The United States and Israeli alliance is strong and steady. The United States stands with the people of Israel!” Huckabee wrote in X.
The visit came the night before the day of Jerusalem. Jerusalem Day celebrates the unity of East Jerusalem, including the old town with West Jerusalem. It also came just days after a Chicago man shot and killed two Israeli embassy staff in Washington, D.C. last week.
Yaron Lisinsky, 31, was an Israeli citizen who was granted “official guest” status by the US State Department. Another victim, Sarah Milgrim, 26, was also employed by the Israeli Embassy. The young couple was set to get engaged.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with American officials, including Jerusalem’s Secretary of Homeland Security Christie Noem.
Netanyahu vowed to continue chasing Hamas and its leadership as the terrorist group agreed to a ceasefire and refused to take hostages back.
In a video statement released Thursday, he criticized British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
Netanyahu said Hamas does not want a Palestinian state. Rather, terrorist groups want to destroy the Israeli state.
