Police are investigating after a homeless man was shot dead in front of a 7-Eleven in Los Angeles.
According to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson, the shooting occurred at around 10:35pm on Sunday night at seven shots at 1234 Wilshire Boulevard in the Westlake area.
The officers arrived and found the male victim on the ground. He was declared shortly afterwards dead by paramedics.

The man’s name has not been released. He was only identified as a 44-year-old homeless Hispanic man, Lapd says.
“Preliminary information shows an unknown suspect approached the victim on foot and fired a gunshot at the victim,” a department spokesman confirmed to KTLA. “The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.”
The motive for the shooting has not been established, and it is unclear whether the incident is gang-related.
Authorities were also unable to provide suspicious explanations.
