Honda Center, an indoor arena that serves as the Anaheim Ducks home, will be renovated and modernised until 2027 thanks to a $1 billion investment.
The Makeover project will be led by the Samueli family, who own Ducks, taking the lead, enhancing the guest experience with greater parking capacity and improved luxury suites, according to OC Sports & Entertainment.
Sports and concert venues will remain open through redesign.
Improvements include:
Three new parking garages with 6,000 spaces, now available
Nearly 60% parking at the new five-storey entrance on the south side of the planned venue
New Opera Box Suite Rollout and Main Concourse for Private Party for Digital Display Outdoor and Other Events
Renovation of a new escalator in 68 luxury suites. New food and drink spots including self-service to make
It’s easy for fans to grab a snack and return to entertainment
“This is more than just an investment in venues, it’s the future as a destination for live entertainment in Anaheim and Orange County,” said Bill Foltz, CEO of OC Sports and Entertainment.
The improvement is part of a $4 billion mixed-use district under development around the Honda Center known as the Ocvibe.
