R-Ga. MP Buddy Carter has cast his support behind President Donald Trump’s quest to win Greenland, taking a step towards making the country’s name America.
On Tuesday, Carter introduced a bill that proposed that Greenland’s name be changed to red, white and blue. In a press release, Georgia lawmakers wrote that adding the Scandinavian country would “have America back and bigger than ever.”
“President Trump correctly identified that he purchased Greenland as a national security priority. To ensure that our people existed so far when negotiating this monumental contract. , proudly welcome to join the most free nation,” Carter added.
Carter also published text for the bill called the Red, White and Blue Land Act of 2025.

“Greenland is known as ‘red, white and bluelands’,” the text states. “References to Greenland in US law, maps, regulations, documents, paper or other records shall be deemed to be references to “red, white, blue.” ”
Carter’s office has not spoken to Trump about the bill that had no costumers as of Tuesday evening.
Trump has expressed interest in acquiring Greenland since 2019, and has potentially called a “large real estate transaction” towards the end of his first term. In December he intensified his appeal to the United States to acquire Danish territory, calling it a national security issue.
“[F]Or for national security and freedom purposes around the world, the United States feels that ownership and control of Greenland is absolutely necessary,” the presidential election at the time wrote in the true social post of the time. Masu.

At the beginning of February, Danish Prime Minister Mette Fredericksen asserted that Greenland was “not for sale,” but she said she was expanding her Arctic footprint and open to the United States.
“I fully agree with Americans that when the Arctic region talks about defense, security and deterrence, the Arctic Circle is becoming increasingly important,” Fredericksen said with China in the region. He said it refers to Russia’s activities. “And we can find ways to ensure a stronger footprint in Greenland. They [the U.S.] Already there, they can have more possibilities. ”
