The House Committee on Wednesday voted in favor of a subpoena from former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
R-PA Rep. Scott Perry said at a hearing of the House Oversight Committee Subcommittee, committee chair James Kommer, R-KY. and motions to be summoned to those with the potential link to Gislaine Maxwell, a former fellow of late pediatrician Jeffrey Epstein.
“I will be expanding the full committee’s investigation into Miss Maxwell, with the listings being: Third, and Alberto Gonzalez is the complete list.
Moves passed in audio voting mean there were no individual roll calls.

The subpoena must be issued by Comer to actually activate.
An aide to the House Oversight Committee told Fox News Digital that “subpoies will be issued in the near future.”
It comes after Summer Lee (D-Pa), a member of the Progressive “Team,” asks for a vote on her own allegations to summon files related to Epstein.
The motion was passed by a vote of 8-2 and also directed Comer to issue the subpoena.
Republican lawmakers have been dealing with a barrage of media scrutiny over the Epstein case for the past two weeks. This is a side effect of the recent fallout over the Department of Justice (DOJ) memo, effectively declaring that it has shut down the issue.

The far-right figures hampered Trump officials like Attorney General Pam Bondy, accusing them of returning to their previous oath of transparency.
At Trump’s instructions, the DOJ is working to have a large jury file related to the case where Epstein’s case is sealed. Bondi is investigating whether the imprisoned former Epstein associate Githraine Maxwell will also talk to federal authorities.
The House GOP-led move to direct Maxwell to a subpoena passed unanimously the House Oversight Committee on Tuesday, with Comer issued the subpoena the following day.

But nonetheless, Democrats were seized in Republican discrepancies and on their own new calls for transparency in the case of Epstein.

Wednesday’s hearing by the Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee was unrelated to Epstein, but it’s part of the House Democrats’ pattern, using the opportunity to force Republicans into unpleasant political positions on the issue.
Rep. Andy Biggs, another member of the subcommittee, has managed to change Lee’s amendments to also request the release of Biden Administration Communications related to Epstein.
