Authorities on Thursday released details on how to arrest four people who were charged with insurance fraud after wearing bear costumes and faking attacks on bears.
The California Department of Insurance, in collaboration with San Bernardino County authorities, led Operation Bear Claw, in which four people defrauded insurance companies by claiming that a bear had broken into their luxury car and caused damage to the interior. It was determined that he tried.

The suspects allegedly defrauded the insurance company out of $141,839.
The case is being prosecuted by the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Tamradian, Mr. Chirkinian and Mr. Muradhanian were all arrested Wednesday, according to jail records. Tamradian was held in lieu of $85,000 bail, and bail for Chirkinian and Muradhanian was set at $30,000. Zuckerman’s prison records were not immediately available as of Wednesday.
