Israeli Ambassador Mike Huckabee and special envoy Steve Witkov visited the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) site amid a dispute over the distribution of aid on the strip.
“I went to Gaza today [and] A humanitarian food program by US launch GHF has been observed. Hamas hates GHF [because] It gets food [people without] It is being plundered by Hamas. Huckabee has served more than 100 million people in two months. I wrote to X in another post, where Huckabee praised GHF’s work as “an incredible feat.”
Israeli Ambassador Mike Huckabee and special envoy Steve Witkov talk to the atmosphere of working in Gaza as they visit distribution sites run by the American and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
Hackabee and Witkov were planning a visit to the High Stakes Gaza.
“in [President Trump’s] direction, [U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee] And yesterday I met with Israeli officials to discuss the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Today we spent over 5 hours in Gaza. Set facts on the ground, evaluate conditions, [GHF] Other institutions. The purpose of the visit was to give [President Trump] It will help you to clearly understand the humanitarian situation and develop a plan to deliver food and medical assistance to the people of Gaza,” Witkov wrote to X after his visit.
The GHF also posted about the visit, saying it was the organization’s “privilege and honor” to place Trump officials on any of its sites when it served 100 million meals.

Gaza Humanitarian Foundation: What you need to know about the US Support Aid Group
“The GHF Food Program is working. It’s working very well,” Huckabee told Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade on Friday. He also said the situation in Gaza was “confusing” due to Hamas.
Huckabee dismissed two general accusations against Israel. The IDF randomly shot and killed Palestinians, meaning there is no evidence that Hamas had stolen aid. Both the US and Israel have largely supported the GHF as a way to distribute aid to people and block trucks that plunder Hamas.
The ambassador told Kilmead that the incidents of people whose IDFs were shot on the aid site were “never random” and expressed fatigue in the story. He further dismissed the allegation that Israel lacked evidence that Hamas steals aid as “absurd.”
Huckabee said he saw evidence that Hamas plundered aid truck and sold food on the black market for outrageous prices. According to Huckabee, a 4-kilogram (8.8 pounds) bag of sugar is available for sale on the black market for up to $200.

Hamas grips Gaza when US-backed groups get help from Palestinians in need
“People need to understand that up until now, most of the humanitarian assistance that entered Gaza was plundered by Hamas and various clans. They had sold goods to Gazan for money.” “As a result, the prices of basic products in the strip have skyrocketed. Hamas created a state that led to hunger in Gaza by refusing food to a meansless population.
In an interview with Kilmead, Huckabee called on the United Nations to stop “pretending” that the GHF system is ineffective and instead cooperate with US and Israeli aid organizations. Huckabee also accused international organizations of being more interested in acting like humanitarian organizations than doing their job.

Israel announces immediate resumption of Gaza Aid Airdrop amid rising hunger crisis
The UN and the GHF were in conflict even before the US-backed organizations began distributing aid in May. The United Nations has expressed concern that GHF sites are dangerous and not ready to distribute food, but the organization points out the number of meals distributed as a success.
“Something good happens when parents no longer need to plead with Hamas for flour. When women can safely gather food for their children, a small dignity is restored. When children are fed without conditions or forced, they break the darkness a bit.

The visit of Hackabee and Witkov comes as the Trump administration appears to shift messages about Gaza’s humanitarian crisis. While in Scotland this week, President Donald Trump has pledged to establish a new food centre in Gaza in an apparent break with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump said he saw “The Real Hunger in Gaza,” but Netanyahu sent a message of complete dissent.
“Gaza has no hunger v, Gaza star policy. We guarantee that we have a commitment to achieving the war goals,” Netanyahu said in a video statement on X.
On Friday, Trump told Axios he was working on a plan to “feed people” in Gaza. The outlet said the president was worried about starvation in Gaza but took the responsibility for Hamas. Additionally, Trump told Axios that Witkov “does a great job” but he had not yet received a briefing from a special envoy.
