Brooke Hogan Oleski, daughter of WWE legend Hulk Hogan, says WWE did not invite her to a tribute to her late father.
The singer-turned-intert designer posted a message on her Instagram story on Wednesday to deal with criticism from fans.
“For those who gave me crap for not attending Dad’s respect, WWE didn’t extend the invitation.”
In a longer post shared with her followers Tuesday, Olesky said she moved her family to Florida to get closer to her father when she underwent multiple surgeries. But what she called “respectful disagreement,” she said she no longer contacted her father within the past two years to “protect his heart.”

However, she revealed that her husband, professional hockey defensive man Stephen Olexi, is in personal contact with her father without her knowledge as a way to try and “find a safe way” for her.
“In the end, he continued his human financial success. This was the last thing I wanted from him. He’s taking his life away and tearing him apart,” she continued.
Ultimately, Olesky said she knew she “did it all” in her mind.
“He knew I would run through the buildings burning for him, and in many ways, along the path of life, I did.
The statement comes when Hogan’s daughter reported two years ago that she asked him to be taken out of his will for a lack of trust in those around him. She reportedly had concerns about her being caught up in a financial battle over his wealth.
“About Us” singer and her husband welcomed their brother twins in January. Shortly afterwards, her mother, Linda, posted on social media and told her daughter hadn’t spoken to her family in years, so she spoke to her problems with her family. She said they had not been invited to her wedding and had no idea about her pregnancy.
“For my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family, and I focus on people that heal my heart and fit my own personal beliefs, goals and values.
Oleski is the eldest son and only daughter of Hogan and Linda. The couple also have a son, Nick. The couple got married in 1983 and divorced in 2009.
Hogan, born Terry Borea, passed away on July 24th at the age of 71.
