What appears to be a teddy bear wrapped in human flesh was left outside a convenience store in Victorville and was arrested Sunday after urging law enforcement investigations.
The strange incident unfolded shortly after 12pm outside the AMPM store in the 1300 block of Bear Valley Road, and San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office officials confirmed with KTLA.
Deputies responded to the location to a report of the human remains found outside the convenience store. The convenience store was tightened with yellow crime scene tape. Meanwhile, the coroner investigator looked up the teddy bears after being placed in a pink plastic bag for further examination in the department.

The creepy story quickly spread through word of mouth and attracted attention from the special effects prop artists of Summerville, South Carolina. The company specializes in making human flesh like a doll, including “human skinned teddy bears,” which are sold for $165 on the popular online marketplace Etsy.
“I can’t make this! One of my skin’s teddy bears seems to be involved in a prank that caused police attention! This is f****** Wild!” A Facebook post from Dark Seed Creations was read shortly after the news broke.

Artist Robert Kelly told KTLA that teddy bears and other similar props have gotten a creepy look from latex covers, and in fact they sold one of the teddy bears to customers in Victorville last week.
SBCSD officials said in a news release that the man identified 23-year-old Victorville resident Hector Coronavillanueva had been arrested in connection with mischief.
“An incident like this could take valuable emergency resources, put the public at risk and delay the time to respond to legitimate calls for services. We would like to thank those who reported useful information during the investigation into this case,” the official said.
The 23-year-old was booked to know that it was false and falsely planted evidence as reality.
