Acting ice director Todd Lyons said the agency was “behaving like a terrorist,” referring to D-Wash’s previous attempts by lawmakers to move them away from actual terrorists.
In a social media post this week, Jayapal claimed that “Ice is acting like a terrorist,” and that “people of legal status, including US citizens, were lured and disappeared on the streets by masked men.”
Jayapal argued that the federal operation was “unsurveillance, no accountability” and was “completely lawless.”
In an interview with Brianna Keilar on “CNN News Central,” Jayapal doubled her statement saying, “The crazy, cruel and outrageous thing is that we literally look at ice agents. I think they’re ice agents.

“I didn’t think that’s what I see here in America in a million years,” she added. “And I think I am an administration that requires apologies to US citizens who have been turned into legal, permanent residents, those with legal status across the country.

In response, the Lions said they “sought to blow up the Northwest Processing Center for Ice in Washington, the home of Jayapal Senators.”
“Now she’s labeling ice officers who enforce immigration laws set by Congress’ “terrorists,” Lyon said. “This is a time when officers are facing an almost 700% increase in assaults, in part due to the type of rhetoric she spits out.”

“In less than millions of years, I thought I’d witnessed a Congressional incumbent prioritizing respect for violent criminals against law enforcement officials who protect her community from actual public safety threats,” he said. “The only apology needed is from lawmakers to those who voted for her.”
The Department of Homeland Security told Fox News earlier this week that attacks on immigration enforcement ice officers and federal agents have risen 690% compared to the same period last year.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, he expressed concern about the escalating violence and the effectiveness of Democrats’ policy-driven public servants.
