Exclusive: The Department of Homeland Security is launching a major recruitment campaign as it aims to grow amid massive deportation efforts and new funding from the Trump-backed Congressional Expenditure Bill.
The funding for the spending bill, called “One Big Beautiful Bill,” provides funding to hire 10,000 new ICE agents. DHS is launching a “Defense The Homeland” campaign featuring posters depicting famous figures including President Donald Trump, Ice Director Todd Lyons acting, and DHS secretary Christie Noem.
“The Biden administration has involved the worst and worst from all over the world. Thanks to President Trump, Ice is now able to drive out these vicious individuals. They will serve and deport them. This is my message to law enforcement.

Furthermore, Ice’s “America Needs You” webpage features images of Uncle Sam, saying, “Your country asks you to serve you.”
The website promotes three important roles: Deportation officers, criminal investigators, and general prosecutors, but federal work sites have a variety of linked lists.
The agency advertises $50,000 signature bonus, student loan relief, 25% of the special agent in the Homeland Security Investigation, “overtime uncontrolled overtime” and “overtime uncontrolled” for ice country expellers, and retirement benefits. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and the maximum age values vary for certain positions.

“Your country is asking you to serve you with ice and protect your hometown,” Lions said in a statement. “In the wake of the Biden administration’s open border policy, ice-focused men and women are now facing unprecedented challenges in eliminating millions of illegal criminal aliens from our country. Now they have the funds to hire and hire Americans who want to serve their country and protect their American communities.”

The recruitment efforts are as agencies continue to increase operations to combat illegal immigration, in order to counter illegal immigration, in addition to illegal entry to those who have been illegally convicted and accused.

Assaults against agents have risen by 830% amid riots and protests across the country, including last month in the Los Angeles area, according to DHS.
The recruitment webpage lists agents as a frequently asked question: “How dangerous is work?”

“ICE law enforcement officers should expect a certain level of risk when performing their duties. However, they are skillfully trained and all precautions are taken by ICE in terms of protecting the well-being of officers,” the website says.
