The new parent company of the well-known household goods retailer is set to open a new brick and mortar location two years after the brand was settled and hundreds of stores across the country closed.
The grand opening of First Bed Bath & Beyond Home Store will be held on August 8th at Nashville, Brand House Collective, Inc. (formerly Kirkland’s, Inc.) was announced in a news release.
“We are proud to be able to reintroduce one of the most iconic names in retail with the launch of Bed Bath and Beyond’s home. We have beautifully rethinked the way families today gather at home today.” “This is a new start for a brand that means more than just a store, something special for many families.”
After applying for Chapter 11 protection in 2023 and closing all physical locations, the brand’s name was first purchased by Overstock.com, becoming an online store and app, selling furniture, rugs and other household items.
Currently, Brand House Collective, Inc. operates more than 300 stores across 35 states and e-commerce sites, according to the release. The location of the brick and mortar store will return under the umbrella.
“To celebrate the grand opening on August 8th, we are reviving one of our most iconic traditions: The BeLoved Bed Bath & Beyond Coupon, in honor of the brand’s history,” the news release said.
Guests were encouraged to introduce legacy bed baths and coupons.
“In our Bed Bath and Beyond home, we offer our mission in every room to provide a great brand for every budget. It is a powerful addition to our portfolio and a meaningful step in our transformation,” Sullivan said.
