As the Senate continues to approach the final decision on President Donald Trump’s “one big beautiful bill,” the president took him to social media early Tuesday to warn that a failure to reach an agreement would end with the biggest tax hike in history.
The message comes after lawmakers were in the marathon “Voting – Lama” for several hours and submitted megaville amendments from both sides of the aisle.
“Republicans are perhaps the biggest and most important, big and beautiful bill in history, giving them the biggest tax cuts to date and border security, millions of jobs, military/veterinarian increase and more.

Republican leaders are currently invisible as they are looking for ways to garner support for the bill, while also fighting proposed amendments from Democrats who oppose it.
GOP leaders have narrow margins and cannot afford to lose more than three Republican senators, including Sen. Tom Tillis of North Carolina and Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky.

Tillis announced he will not seek re-election after President Trump poses a campaign threat against him.
John Tune, the leader of the Senate majority in South Dakota, said Republicans are “thinking about how to get to the end game,” but the end of the llama vote is expected to be on track in the middle of the night.

According to the latest CBO analysis, the bill, if passed, will enact an expenditure agenda that includes Trump’s domestic taxes and a $4.5 trillion tax cut.
According to Democrats, the package would also roll back billions of dollars with green energy tax credits that threaten wind and solar investments.
Billionaire Elon Musk, who led the Government Efficiency Bureau (DOGE) until a few weeks ago, took him to social media late Monday to assault Republicans as “Porky Pig Party!!!” By including the clause, he argued, he would raise the country’s debt limit by $5 trillion.

Trump threatened to return to the true social musk and point the former leader to doge.
“Elon Musk knew I was strongly opposed to the mission of EVs long before I strongly supported me for the president. It was ridiculous and a big part of my campaign. Electric cars are fine, but no one needs to force it. Production of cars, and our country, perhaps, we should take good money to save this!!!” the president wrote.

The bill also imposes $1.2 trillion cuts on Medicaid and food stamps, making sign-up eligibility more stringent and changing federal rebates. It also provides $350 billion infusions for border and national security, including deportation.
