Law enforcement officials say this week a 40-year-old man arrested on suspicion of vandalism and arrested for impersonating a former US S and impersonating a former US S was shot and killed this week.
On June 20, Madera County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of family obstruction, where deputies learned on several notable warrants, including those that Chochira resident Andrew Biscay impersonated a peace officer, the department said in a news release.
“The suspect resisted arrest but was safely taken into custody,” the official said.
When deputies searched for Biske’s vehicle, they retrieved self-manufactured firearms, ammunition, fake US badges and uniforms, and flashes of light.
The 40-year-old was arrested and booked on several felony and misdemeanor charges, and his bail was set at $70,000. Authorities also encouraged the public to report a run-in with Biske, who identified himself as a law enforcement agency.

It is unclear exactly when Viscay was released from custody, but on June 2, a San Luis Obispo County woman who knew his violent history and access to weapons discovered him near her home and called him 911.
In a news release, the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the area shortly after midnight and saw Viscay sitting in his car.
“Biscay quickly left his car and took a shooting position, pointing a handgun at the agent that arrived,” authorities said. “The lawmakers issued multiple orders to Biscay and he continued to move forward, and as a result, deputies drained their service weapons.”
Two brothers reported deaths from a California highway were overlooked.
The 40-year-old was hit and went to the ground. He was later declared dead at the scene by a medical professional.
The firearm found near his body was later determined to be a Beretta PX4 Storm semi-automatic pellet gun.
Fatal shootings come in reports of people who continue to enforcement operations across the state while wearing masks, often pretending to be badges and people who are reportedly refusing to show badges or any kind of identification.
The 24-year-old Huntington Park man once worked for the US Border Patrol, but was arrested after police found a pickup truck containing blue and red LED lights, police-style radio and a firearms magazine.
