LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – IN-N-Out Burger, one of Southern California’s most popular fast food chains, has announced plans to return all of its headquarters to where it began more than 75 years ago.
In a news release shared with the media, the company said it will move its home office from Irvine, Orange County to Baldwin Park, San Gabriel Valley by 2029.
Harry Snyder, founder of In-N-Out, opened his first burger stands in Francisquito and Garvey Avenues in Baldwin Park in 1948. The company has been headquartered in Irvine since the mid-1990s.
“In every decision regarding the future of In-N-Out Burger, I strongly consider what my grandparents and my family think is best for our company,” said granddaughter and company owner. Lynsi Snyder said. “I know my family supports this move, because it connects our In-Out families in a way that helps us better serve our customers, our most important priority. Because it’s there.”

Harry Snyder passed away in 1976 and put his son, Rich and Man, and his widow, Esther, in charge of the company. Linci’s uncle Rich passed away in 1993, while his father, Guy, died in 1999. Esther passed away in 2006, and four years later, Linci became the family-owned president. It remains privately owned.
The majority of IN-N-Out’s corporate staff work in the new Baldwin Park office or in the Franklin, Tennessee. A new “East Territory” office is under construction there, the news release said.
The company has announced plans to open dozens of locations in the Volunteer State over the next few years, according to Retail Wire.
As of February, IN-N-Out had over 400 restaurants in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, New Mexico and Washington.
