In-n-out sued YouTuber pretending to be an employee and made “strange and indecent” comments

The beloved Southern California Burger Joint In-N-Out has found no humor in YouTuber’s prank videos filmed in several restaurants.

Last week, IN-N-Out filed a lawsuit against Bryan Arnett, an online mischief who worked at multiple local restaurants, receiving orders from unsuspecting customers and making indecent comments while wearing In-n-Out branded clothing.

In the video, which has since been limited to private viewing, Fillmore resident Arnett can be seen interacting with customers and commenting that In-N-Out would undermine the chain’s reputation.

The prank itself was reportedly captured on Easter Sunday when the restaurant closed, the lawsuit states.

“[Arnett] We visited multiple in-n-out locations in Southern California…

The lawsuit also accused Arnett of asking customers if the food wanted it to be “dog styled” in the restaurant chain’s famous “animal style” menu option.

He also tells one client that he “serves only gay people.”

The moment she discovers that the restaurant brand is particularly troublesome, Arnett asks her clients to sleep with her wife and asks if they’d like to see her.

“I like watching my wife sleep with other men. Is that something you’re interested in?” he says in the video, as reported by SFGATE.

He then posted videos to his YouTube page and his approximately 330,000 subscribers, but without the consent of the filmed customers, he infringed the company’s trademarks and warned them to be removed to post them.

After the lawsuit was filed, the main prank video was switched to private. A follow-up video was posted on Monday, where Arnett commented on the filing. The video has also been removed or removed from public viewing.

On Wednesday, February 6th, 2013, you will receive a drive-thru order on your wireless tablet at a restaurant in Costa Mesa, California, USA.

This wasn’t the first time Arnett was said to have made a prank video at the expense of IN-N-Out. Previous videos include placing an employee of the moon’s plaque where he took a photo of himself on the wall of the restaurant, claiming he was previously refused after being asked to leave one of the restaurants.

In-N-Out is seeking Arnett’s life ban from the restaurant, money made from his videos, and potential financial damages called Arnett’s stunts, asking for comments he called “honor-dead, racially insensible, weird, squeal.”

In a follow-up video since then, Arnett said he was not particularly concerned about the lawsuit and “what happens is going to happen, what happens will happen.”
