Southern California’s unseasonably low-temperature spells quickly give way to summer-like situations as the week progresses.
Temperatures in Southland rise steadily in some communities, reaching triple digits when they return to average conditions during this period. The past two weeks have been marked by seasonal temperatures that are pleasant – though seasonally low – throughout the region, but that changes by the end of the week.
“A portion of the second half of the week, next week, Thursday, Friday, things really start to warm up,” said NBC4 meteorologist Shana Mendiola. “These triple digits are coming back to forecasting as we eventually see changes in the weather patterns.”
According to Mendiola, Wednesday will be a “transition period” when temperatures begin to change. All the warmth that comes in is thanks to the high pressure that is immediately lingering on the SOCAL.
“Looking at the high pressure ridge to the east, prepare for the heat. “It’s been perfect for Texas and the central part of our country for the past few weeks, but in the end, we’ll get a little bit of summer.”
Like other hot days, the public is advised to practice fever safety.激しい屋外アクティビティは制限され、外で働く人は定期的に水分補給を維持し、できるだけ頻繁に日陰で休憩を取る必要があります。
The vehicle can reach dangerously high temperatures under the sun, rising about 20 degrees inside compared to the exterior condition. Do not put children or pets in hot vehicles.
