A few days after the fierce battle, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel had successfully completed its military operation against Iran, claiming it had eliminated major nuclear and missile threats.
Netanyahu convened Israeli security ministers last night to announce that the country has achieved all its strategic goals, including “Am Kalavi.”
Israel neutralised what is described as a “double immediate existential threat” posed by Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
Netanyahu added that the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) has gained full air force control over Tehran, causing serious damage to Iranian military leaders and destroying dozens of major governments and military targets.
In the last 24 hours alone, the IDF reportedly struck a central location in the Iranian capital, eliminating hundreds of Basij operatives and assassinated another senior nuclear scientist.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to President Donald Trump and the United States for “supporting and participating” in operations, particularly when targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
Following what Netanyahu described as a “historic achievement,” Israel agreed to a bilateral ceasefire for Trump. However, he warned that Israel would respond forcefully to violations of the agreement.
Israeli citizens are urged to follow the Homefront command command command until full compliance with the ceasefire is confirmed.
Netanyahu is scheduled to release a formal statement later today.
