Israeli forces struck Yemeni port city Hodeida on Monday, targeting Iran-backed Houtsis in response to “recurring attacks” on the Jewish state, particularly missile strikes that nearly hit Tel Aviv’s biggest airport.
The Israeli Defense Force said the Fighter Jets are targeting port cities along Yemen’s coastline and concrete factories.
“The terrorist infrastructure site struck at Hudaydah Port will serve as a central source of Houthi Terrorist Regime,” the IDF statement said. “The Hudaydah Port will be used to relocate Iranian weapons, military equipment and other equipment intended for terrorist purposes.”

Additionally, IDF also collided with a “basil” concrete factory. This will serve as an important economic resource for Houches, the IDF says. The facility is also being used to build underground tunnels and terrorist infrastructure for terrorist regimes, officials said.
During the strike, the Houtis retaliated with missiles and drones from the surface to the surface, which were launched by Israel and civilians, Israel said.
