The Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona will celebrate its opening day on Friday with discounted tickets and a new theme, “Art Unleashed.”
“Fair has been a celebration of art for over a century: home arts, culinary arts, visual arts, performing arts, art. Enjoying art. Art to make memories.”
As always, LA County Fair will entertain guests with quirky food and drinks, adorable livestock, blue ribbon competitions, concerts and over 70 carnival rides.

Guests who want to enjoy their opening day at the LA County Fair on Friday will have to wait until 5pm, but can come for a special $9.50 rate. The park will close at 11pm
The remaining regular park hours for the year, which continue between May 3rd and May 26th, are from 11am to 11pm.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate on the day of your visit. The fair’s website says tickets purchased at the gate will cost more.
Fairplex is located at 1101 W. McKinley Avenue in Pomona.
