Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are preparing to dock in Venice, Italy for this week’s gorgeous wedding.
The engagement between 61 Amazon founders and 55 journalists is set to be a major event with around 200 guests this past week in June, according to the city of Venice.
According to NBC News, the actual wedding is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 24th.

When and where will Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding be?
The wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez was told CNN in March by Venice Mayor’s spokesman Luca Zuin.
Zuin said the wedding will occur on a Bezos superyacht named Koru, and is reportedly worth $500 million per architectural digest.
Koru is particularly characterized by buds decorated in the form of a female, and was previously rumored to be in Sanchez’s portrait. However, she told Vogue in November 2023, “I’m very happy, but not.” This person is actually the Scandinavian goddess Freiha, who represents love, fertility, war and gold.
Yachts are docked into the Venetian Lagoon by Zuin. Residents are protesting the influx of people with signs such as “there is no space for Bezos,” but city officials chose “honor,” when Bezos and Sanchez chose Venice for their wedding.
City Hall officials told NBC News in a statement that regular water transport services will continue during wedding events. According to the statement, approximately 30 of the 280 water taxis have been booked, with three or four hotels linked to the event.
“The city is completely used to hosting famous events of this nature and scale, including other celebrity weddings, international summits such as the G7 and G20.
When did Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez get engaged?
Bezos and Sanchez have been linked since January 2019 when people reported news of their relationship. That same month, Bezos announced that he and his then-wife Mackenzie Scott had divorced after 25 years of marriage.
Having worked as a reporter for “Extra” and “Good Day LA” throughout her career, Sanchez is the vice-chairman of the Bezos Earth Fund, an organization that works to prevent climate change.
Sanchez and Bezos got engaged in May 2023. Bezos suggested hiding a pink diamond under her pillow, she told Vogue. She found the ring when they went to sleep and kicked their summer at the sea that year.
“I think when he opened the box I was a little blacker,” she told Vogue.
She also told the outlet that “100%” plans to take his name, adding, “I look forward to becoming Mrs. Bezos.”

The guest list for the gorgeous Venetian wedding is maintained in the wrapping, but the couple’s recent efforts have left clues to celebrities who may be one of around 200 invited guests.
Sanchez’s singles party in May featured 11 women, including Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry. Vogue reports that Eva Longoria and sports commentator Charissa Thompson were also attending a Bachelorette trip to Paris.
Perry and Sanchez are part of an all-female Blue Origin flight crew who went to space in April, joining Gail King, rocket scientist Aishabo, film producer Kellianne Flynn, and scientist and civil rights activist Amanda Nuguen.
