House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Dn.Y. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court said it should consider holding the Trump administration lightly empty against the deportation of Salvador’s illegal immigrant and former Maryland resident Kilmer Armando Abrego Garcia.
The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld a lower court’s decision last month to promote Abrego Garcia’s return from the El Salvador prison where federal officials sent hundreds of suspicious criminals and gang members.
“The Supreme Court has made it clear that Abrego Garcia should not be deported,” Jeffries said at a press conference on the Democratic Party’s upcoming “Save Social Security Day of Action” in Tuesday’s press conference to oppose what he advocates for social security cuts.

“In fact, the Trump administration has acknowledged that fact, so they either need to comply with the Supreme Court’s orders or the Supreme Court actively enforces the order.
The Supreme Court has admitted that Abrego Garcia was subject to a 2019 withholding order banning removal from El Salvador, and that removal to El Salvador was “illegal.” The court emphasized that the government must promote release from custody in El Salvador and handle his case as if he had not been deported.
One immigration judge in 2019 found that Garcia was removable outside of El Salvador due to threats from rival gangs because he had not fully rebutted the evidence of MS-13 affiliation. This is called a withholding tax order.
The Trump administration is facing criticism from Democrats, left-wing media and human rights advocates to send Abrego Garcia back to his home country. Trump officials initially admitted that his removal was due to “management errors.”

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said Monday that two courts determined Abrego Garcia was a member of the MS-13 gang and that he was deported after Trump declared the violent gang a terrorist organization.
Miller said when Trump declared MS-13 a terrorist organization, Abrego Garcia was no longer eligible for US immigration relief.

Miller said Abrego Garcia had an unpaid deportation order. In other words, he was not even allowed to exist in the United States and had to be removed for the designation of foreign terrorists.
Abrego Garcia is married to a US citizen and raises three children.
Meanwhile, Jeffries is D-Md of Senator Chris Van Hollen, who is about to meet with El Salvador President Naive Bukere while he is here. He added that he supports the efforts of the company. Van Hollen is about to send Abrego Garcia back to the US
Bukel met with Trump at the White House on Monday to hold a bilateral summit focusing primarily on immigration.
“I support Senator Chris Van Hollen’s efforts and leadership,” Jeffries said. “The President should accept the demands of that meeting and have a real discussion about when Abrego Garcia will be returned to his family in the United States.”

Van Hollen said he wants to see the Trump administration being lightly empty.
“It’s totally unfair and illegal to have this Marylander in custody at an infamous prison in El Salvador,” Van Hollen said according to WBAL-TV.
“I saw that families who are lawyers are asking for administrative lawyers to be lightly empty, and I think that is an absolutely appropriate move to take it right now.
