First on Fox: R-Ga. Rep. Buddy Carter is targeting Georgia Senators with a new ad that highlights the vulnerable Democrats’ stances towards transgender student-athletes.
Running for the Senate, Carter has released “Ossoff Fan,” a 30-second ad featuring transgender women complaining about Carter’s own Republican attitude. It begins by showing a trans woman, played by a stubble-covered biological man in a wig and dress, sitting in the living room next to a dumbbell watching Carter on Fox News.
“He was a maga from the start,” the person says over the phone. “He was loyal to Trump and defended him during the bounce each.”
Other liners say, “And Buddy helped Trump at the border.”

Transgender people pick up the trophy and say, “and it prevents people like me from competing in women’s sports. Buddy Carter believes they only have two genders.”
“Now Buddy wants to help Trump in the Senate and is defeating John Ossoff,” the individual says. “It’s just not fair,” while the phone call says, “All Ossov did it for us!”
The ad ends with a trans person picking up a sign with a pink lettering that reads “Ossoff for the Senate,” wearing wedge sandals and stomping on the car.
The short but punchy ads show Republicans believe that the debate surrounding transgender inclusion is a powerful issue for revealing voters who support the GOP. This proved to be a key issue in the 2024 general election. That fact spent moderate Democrats a few weeks after denounced intolerance towards his party’s different views.
Ossov is the first term member of the Democratic Party to win a Senate seat in Peach State in about 20 years. Republicans now see Ossov’s seat as one of the most viable flip opportunities in the mid-cycle of 2026, where the GOP wants to maintain and expand the thin majority of the upper chamber.

Carter was the first Republican to jump into the contest after Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp was considered a huge favorite to oppose Ossoff. Georgia insurance commissioner John King is also a Republican.
Ossoff, along with all other Democrat senators, filibustered the bill from Alabama Republicans Sens. Tommy Tuberville and Katie Brittt in March, effectively killing the law after moving forward from the House earlier this year.
Their bill, called the protection of women and girls in sports law, is designed to prohibit trans athletes from participating in all levels of federal athletics, from elementary schools to college.
Title IX amended to be a violation of a school athletics program that receives federal funds to enable biological men to participate in sports and activities aimed at women or girls, and defines a person’s gender by reproductive biology and genetics at birth.

The measure resembles an executive order from President Donald Trump in February that claimed that the participation of biological men in women and girls’ sports was despicable, unfair and dangerous to women and girls, denies women and girls the opportunity to excel in competitive sports.

Advertising for the Carter Campaign is not the first time in the looming mid-cycle where vulnerable senators have been targeted for votes for the measure.
One Nation, a nonprofit advocacy group that closely aligns with Senate Republican leaders, last month denounced Ossov as “a radical left running point” and ran ads in a vote to block men on the women’s sports bill.
Fox News Digital reached out to Ossoff’s campaign for comments on Carter’s ads, but did not respond by reporting time.
