He called Courier’s wife Melissa “the most amazing” and called Courier “a true lifeline.”
“This is amazing,” wrote Full House alum Candice Bure.

While many praised Stamos for being there for his friend, some commenters criticized his decision to wear a shaved head instead of shaving his head.

“God bless Dave. But is this really appropriate? Is a bald hat a sign of unity? Just take the hat off and we can be ‘normal’ again.” People who follow this path actually shave their heads. I can’t help but feel that way. You are using Dave’s diagnosis as a way to make yourself more likable,” one follower wrote.
Another follower called the move a “shallow gesture.”
“Even though you couldn’t get a haircut for your friend, you made sure to post it on Instagram to get likes.”
“I don’t want to be that person, but wearing a bald hat is more insulting than not shaving your head. Cancer patients don’t have a ‘hat’ to take off,” another woman countered.
But fans who have battled cancer came to Stamos’ defense.
“After having cancer three times, I never wanted anyone to shave their head. I think it’s great and funny, and I’m sure Dave really didn’t want him to shave his head,” she said. I wrote it.
Fans then rallied to the “Fuller House” actor’s defense and touted their support for Courier.
“‘Oh, guys, what’s more important?’ That he shaved his head, or that you were actually there for him? ”
“Oh, this is so cute…Also, to those who commented: If Dave isn’t upset about this, you shouldn’t be either. Remember, John is an actor. , you may need hair for work. This should be a space filled with positivity and hope. Leave your negative feelings elsewhere. ”
Stamos and Courier both co-starred on ABC’s hit comedy “Full House” from 1987 to 1995, and reprized their roles on “Fuller House,” which first aired in 2016. The show ran for five series until 2020.
