(Nexstar) – Kendrick Lamar wore a letterman-style jacket at Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime performance, but neither team appeared on the field.
The large letters crossed the front, and the jacket was pronounced “Gloria.” This is an obvious reference to his song with SZA by the same name. SZA performed with Lamar at the Super Bowl Lix show.
Eagle-Eyed viewers have discovered patches and designs that are particularly important to the jacket. On the back was decorated with “Pglang,” the name of the entertainment company co-founded by Lamar and Dave Free. In the small text above the Pglang logo, the jacket is “Compton” in Lamar’s hometown of Los Angeles.

His left arm patch referenced the upcoming Grand National Tour where Lamar and SZA will be headlined, as well as his album entitled GNX.
His right arm referenced the lyrics to his hit Diss track “Not Like U” and his song “Peekaboo.”

The halftime performance was Lamar’s biggest hit medley, with the help of SZA and Samuel L. Jackson as Uncle Sam.
The Philadelphia Eagles led the Kansas City Chiefs 24-0.
