If confirmed, Noem will be the fourth of President Donald Trump to move forward from the Senate after the Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the director of John Ratcriffs, and the New Defense Defense Secretary Peat Hesthes.
The voting expected immediately after noeM is the vote of the Secretary of Finance Scott Bessent, followed by Sean Duffy.
