KTLA 5 continues to honor our dear Sam Rubin’s career and legacy.
He was widely known for his celebrity interviews on the red carpet and KTLA 5 Morning News, but off-camera he was the champion of anyone interested in broadcast journalism. Over the years, he has mentored, encouraged and advised countless individuals who have achieved great success in both the TV news and entertainment industry.
To continue the incredible work he started, we have announced the Sam Rubin Memorial Scholarship at KTLA, paying homage to our legacy of cultivating and nurturing young talent.
Students who are currently studying journalism and are keen to show a strong interest in entertainment news are encouraged to apply.
