As sports teams increase in value, so does sports ownership groups.
And the sports empire of Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke has not skyrocketed.
CNBC’s latest report on the most valuable sports ownership groups ranked Kroenke Sports and Entertainment first on the list, worth $211.7 billion. Kroenke’s team portfolio includes the NFL’s La Rams, NBA’s Denver Nuggets, NHL’s Colorado Avalanches and English Premier League weapons.
He owns Sophie Stadium in Inglewood. There, the Rams and the Ratchers play their home games.
In April, the Kroenke organization announced plans for a multi-purpose development in the West San Fernando Valley. This includes a training centre, including the Rams headquarters and the training centre, along with residential and retail projects.
Kroenke won against the second-valued Jones family at $15.53 billion, including ownership of the NFL’s most valuable franchise, The Dallas Cowboys.

More Sports Empires will soon challenge the list after Bass’ family agreed to sell a majority stake in the LA Lakers to businessman Mark Walter in June. This will be Walter’s third LA team in his owned group, following MLB team La Dodgers and WNBA’s LA Sparks.
Walter is the CEO of global investment firm Guggenheim Partners and agreed to buy control over the 17-time NBA champions for $10 billion. His assets include future Formula 1 racing teams from Chelsea FC and Cadillac in the English Premier League.
Sports empires are usually evaluated and evaluated by the portfolio of teams they purchase, the other businesses they own, and how much of a team location affects them.
