The Los Angeles Fire Department is fighting back against Mayor Karen Bass after Chief Crowley claimed he didn’t warn her in advance about the strong winds that fueled the wildfires in Pallisard and Eton.
A fire on the coast of Los Angeles County burned through the entire neighborhood, making it the ninth fatalest and third most destructive wildfire recorded in California.
Bass, who was in Ghana as part of the Biden administration delegation, admitted that it was a mistake to travel.

Mayor Bass also said he is working to regain confidence that could have been lost amidst devastation and reconstruction efforts.
