Two juvenile suspects were arrested Friday in connection with a shocking video in which a group of teenagers on bikes beaten a man on Midwilshire Street was released last Saturday.
The two’s arrests followed an anonymous hint shortly after the story was released. LAPD claims that public help is needed to track down the remaining perpetrators.
The video shows about 20 teenage boys assaulting and beating a man near the intersection of San Vicente Boulevard and Carrillo Drive around 5pm
After the initial discussion between the victim and the attacker, the attacker quickly overwhelmed the victim, punching them to the ground and kicking them.
When an outsider intervened, the attackers rode a bike southward on Carrillo Drive and left the area with them.
The victim was injured but did not go to the hospital.
Anyone who recognizes the video’s individual or has information about the attack is encouraged to contact Detective Carlos 41244, 213-922-8229, LAPD Wilshire Area. Anonymous tips can be created by contacting Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
