Detectives are asking the public for help in finding a man who allegedly shot a car driver who ploughed into a crowd outside an East Hollywood nightclub last month.
The suspicious shooter was identified as 28-year-old Efren Villarobos of Lawndale on Friday.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Villa Lobos is said to be 5 feet 10 and about 160 pounds. He has a shaved head, brown eyes and a gauge in both ears.
Detectives are seeking public support in arresting a suspect shooter identified as Lawndale’s Efren Villalobos.

Police say he has multiple tattoos, including his last name, “Villalobos.” The phrase “No respect is given” on his inner right arm, “Miabella” on his inner left arm.
Authorities say villains should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is encouraged to call 911. Tips can also be submitted online at lapdonline.org.
Dozens of people were injured on July 19 after ploughing vehicles into a crowd gathered outside a Vermont Hollywood nightclub.
Police said the vehicle stopped when it hit multiple food carts.
People around him removed the suspected driver, identified as 29-year-old Fernando Ramirez, from the car and began attacking him. He said that Villa Lobos now pulled out his gun and allegedly shot Ramirez in the waist before fleeing the scene.
Ramirez is charged with attempted murder and assault of 37 counts with a lethal weapon that fell crashed. Authorities say he was dumped from Vermont Hollywood early in the morning of July 19th, but returned around 2am. It is said that what police described as a “compact Nissan sedan” was cultivated by a large number of outdoor, street vendors and pedestrians.
