A day after the announcement that the patrons had last-minute efforts to keep the popular West Hollywood French restaurant open, they posted that the eateries actually have to close.
“It is heartwarming to have to share unfortunate news. The efforts that kept the restaurant open have led to unexpected results despite overwhelming support, love and generosity that went beyond our control.
A day ago, the restaurant announced that it was packed with restaurants, covering what it takes to continue the “generosity” of its customers. However, the obvious conflict with the landlord disappointed optimism.
“By the time we were able to raise the funds we needed to pay the dues, our landlord had already made other plans. Sadly, Le Petit Four no longer fits into his new vision,” the post read.
Sitting outdoors on the curb of a Lupeti 4 French restaurant at Sunset Plaza in West Los Angeles, late November 24th, 2020, the patrons dine under a queue of gas heaters. However, on the day they were supposed to close forever, they announced that the restaurant would remain open thanks to support from the community. (KTLA) Le Petit Four, which has been open since 1981, said there is a decision to decide that it is permanently “inevitable” in an Instagram post due to rising costs and declining pedestrians. Alex from Le Petit Four had no choice but to close the door due to legal procedures that already had a restaurant open.
“Your unwavering support has meant the world to us. We are forever grateful for the memories, friendship and sense of community we have built together… You have made it truly unforgettable.
Le Petit Four opened in the West Hollywood area of Sunset Boulevard in 1981 and offers a “cozy pastry shop filled with gourmet treatments from Paris’ Four Chong.”
