The world-famous Laugh Factory Hollywood hosted its 45th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner, providing hot meals and lots of laughs to more than 2,000 people in need.

The tradition was started by Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada on Thanksgiving Day 1979, just one week after the club opened, as a small event for 71 comedians who were away from home at the time. was held.
“We have all these great comics, and some of them are very famous on TV, and they come here just to put smiles on people’s faces and give them food. I volunteer my time,” the president said.

Michael Grant, who is a comedian himself, said the recent work stoppage has brought the entertainment industry to a standstill and put him through a tough time.
“I was broke and homeless and now I’m getting back on my feet. Things like this have helped me when I’ve traditionally struggled as an artist,” Grant said.
Like Grant, each person in line had their own story and reason to be grateful.
“I don’t want to be alone, so I want you to come here and have fun with your friends and eat delicious food,” said Bester Hester, one of the participants.
And of course, Thanksgiving wouldn’t be complete without pumpkin pie.
“We like to say we are feeding their bellies, but we are also feeding their souls,” the Führer said.
