President Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Building” was signed into law earlier this month, with Republican lawmakers celebrating the broad GOP victory with massive tax and spending laws.

This includes billions of dollars aimed at cracking down on Trump against illegal immigration to the United States, but about $30 billion is marked by immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) alone, while $45 billion is directed at accumulating detention facilities capacity.

House Republicans who spoke with Fox News Digital last week welcomed the increased funding despite critics of the Trump administration critics accusing the White House of heavy issues.

“Now that money, you can tackle the wall along the southern border, you can hire more agents, you can hire more agents, you can invest in technology, you can patrol the border, you can secure it. “If you ask President Trump, that was the most important issue of the 2024 election.”

Rep. Michael Guest, chairing the House Homeland Security Committee’s subcommittee on Border Security and Enforcement, said funding for detention facilities is particularly important.

Guests urged ICE to use these funds to strengthen “targeted” enforcement against illegal immigrants.

It had many people on the left, and some on the right urged the Trump administration not to go too far to round up suspected illegal immigrants who would otherwise not pose a known threat to the public.

“I think targeted enforcement is what they are trying to follow the worst and worst. We learned after releasing internally that they committed crimes in the US or committed crimes within the country. [or] People who received final removal orders,” the guest said.

“These are people I believe the ice needs to be targeted. They are people who see widespread support from the American people who want them to get off the streets.”

Rep. Ralph Norman (Rs.C.) noted that Ice had been seeking funding for some time.

“Tom Homan has done an incredible job. He needs more money to continue working for a while, and he’s fighting especially the sanctuary cities to prevent that,” Norman said. “What we can do is provide funding, and we did that.”

And then R-Wis. Derrick Van Orden of the group said he hopes that the rise in borders and the crackdown on immigration will help combat the ongoing drug crisis.

“So, in order to get rid of these regular rape and murder of these criminal and illegal aliens, we have to have a very strong immigration enforcement system,” Van Olden said.

Rep. Brandon Gill and R-Ga of R-Texas. Rep. Andrew Clyde of the company highlighted funding for Trump’s border wall and more ice staff, respectively.

The bill passed the House earlier this month and was signed into law by Trump on July 4th.

In addition to funding immigration businesses, it also expands key parts of Trump’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Employment Act (TCJA), rolling back green energy subsidies during the Biden administration and imposes new work requirements for federal aid.
