White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt applauded Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, after supporters of President Donald Trump accused him of being “ill” and mentally ill.
Speaking to a reporter at the White House briefing room on Thursday, Levitt said “It’s very mild to blame nearly 80 million people on mental illness.”
“The last time I checked, Jasmine Crockett had no dream of winning such a majority like President Trump,” she said.
“The first American movement that President Trump has built is filled with hardworking patriots. Forgotten men and women, business owners, law enforcement officers, nurses and teachers, Central America. As you know from where you grew up outside this beltway. “And Jasmine Crockett should one day go to a Trump rally, and she can see it for herself.”

Leavitt also said he hopes Crockett will remain a “new star” for the Democrats. “At least for the Republican Party.”
In a recent interview with Crockett, one of the leading democratic voices in the Trump Resistance movement, he explained that Trump’s reelection was made possible by the national mental health crisis.
“We are in a mental health crisis in this country because no matter how you partner with yourself, you should oppose Trump. This is not a partisan for me,” Crockett said.
Congresswoman also continued to argue that former vice president Kamala Harris was more entitled to be president than Trump and was elected on the basis that he was an “old white man.”

She also said that “they signed up to fight are now their commander” and that “the heart breaks for service members for service members.”
“It’s really sick, and anyone who supports it is sick,” Crockett said.
In the same interview, Crockett defended former President Joe Biden’s mental vision, claiming that she “has never seen anything” from Biden, who would wonder about his mental acuity, and that his mental vision was “the best” for President Donald Trump.

Crockett also recently received intense criticism for other comments about Republican leaders, including Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. This comment won her widespread criticism given the fact that Abbott is a paralyzed man who moves around in a wheelchair.
