LeBron James will go to “Mojo Joca Casa House” from crypto.com arena.
Barbie maker Mattel announced Wednesday that the Los Angeles Lakers superstar will be the first professional athlete to get his Ken doll in portraits.
James has the hope that in collaboration with the LeBron James Family Foundation, he will become Mattel’s first “Kenbassador” and “inspire and contribute to a better world for all.”
“As a young child, I was fortunate to have a role model that not only inspired me, but also showed me what was possible through hard work and dedication,” James said in a press release. “As an adult now, I understand how important it is to have positive numbers that young people respect.
“That’s why it’s such an honor to partner with Barbie to release the LeBron James Kembassador doll. It’s an opportunity to instill confidence, stimulate dreams, and recognize the powerful impact of role models to show children that children can achieve greatness.”
Below are five things you need to know about 4-time NBA champion LeBron James.
When will the LeBron James Ken doll be released?
The LeBron James Kembassador doll hit the shelf on Monday, April 14th. The cost is $75 per doll.
In-store availability includes the location of your chosen target, but you can make online purchases at Target, Amazon, Walmart, and Mattel Creations.
Mattel will donate a copy of James’ children’s book, “I Am More,” to save children with all dolls (up to 5,000 copies) for sale on April 14-19 at Target and Target.com.
Additionally, Barbie makes a donation to the LeBron James Family Foundation to help “inspire endless possibilities for all children and invest more resources for the children and families of James’ hometown in Akron, Ohio.”
“For the LeBron James Family Foundation and the families we serve, this is more than a doll. It represents the reality that children can make a difference from anywhere.” “We are extremely honored to work with Barbie to continue to inspire the next generation and celebrate LeBron’s unwavering commitment to the community around LeBron James Kembassador dolls.”

James has previously been transformed into an action figure. However, unlike the toy versions of the starting lineup depicting him in McFarlane Toys and NBA uniforms, Ken Doll features an adjustable multi-accessory outfit that resembles the appearance of the pre-game tunnel.
The doll is covered in a custom varsity jacket over the LeBron James Family Foundation’s “We Are Family” T-shirt, Nike Terminator high sneakers, beat headphones, sunglasses, fanny packs, watches and his perennial “I Promise” band.
The doll captures not only James’ style, but his height. It has a larger custom package, one inch higher than the standard Ken doll.
Why is Mattel celebrating Ken?
Barbie’s longtime best friend and supporter, Ken celebrates the 65th anniversary of 2026.
“We look forward to bringing fans to Ken’s new presentation celebrating LeBron as a role model, his iconic status, his lasting impact on culture and his dedication to setting a positive example for the next generation to reach their infinite possibilities.”
Mattel said he would honor the other Kembassadors along with LeBron James Doll.
