It’s been almost 30 years since James Cameron’s Titanic was released, but we’re “never letting go” of the love story between Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater.
So when Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet reunited in Los Angeles this week for a screening of Winslet’s new film, Lee, our nostalgic hearts were understandably soaring.
The British actress plays World War II photographer Lee Miller in the film.
The film’s production studio, Roadside Attractions, held a screening and panel discussion Tuesday night at the Harmony Gold Theater in Los Angeles. During the event, DiCaprio introduced the film while praising it and his “dear friend” Winslet.
“Your work on this film was truly transformative,” he gushed in a video posted to X (formerly Twitter). “I remain in awe. I continue to admire your strength, integrity, talent, and passion for every project you create.”
He then introduced his co-star in “Revolution Road” as “one of the great talents of my generation.”
When she took the stage, the two had a friendly conversation and hugged.
“Lee” is available to watch on-demand anywhere.
