An aide at Long Beach School, who worked with a disabled child, was arrested for allegedly carrying and distributing child pornography.
The suspect was identified as 22-year-old Jary Blackman of Long Beach, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Blackman was hired as a school aide for the Long Beach Unified School District. She reportedly accessed and worked with a child with disabilities.
Jary Blackman, 22, of Long Beach, can be seen in booking photos from the Los Angeles Police Department.
A district spokesman told Long Beach Post that Blackman is a contractor and not a district employee, “we’ve been serving Hughes Middle School since January 2025.”
Her suspicious crime was discovered following an investigation into another child pornography incident, police said.
On June 3, she was detained and detained for alleged possession and distribution of child pornography.
Detectives are looking for more potential victims “as they “hold a position of trust to work with children with disabilities,” the LAPD said.
Blackman is being held without bail until her arrest. The investigation will be submitted to the LA District Attorney’s Office for submission.
Anyone who is a victim or has information about the incident is encouraged to call the LAPD Harbor Deputy at 213-280-1501.
