A Los Angeles County man was arrested for attempted murder after leaving a man hospitalized for stabbing attack.
The suspect was identified as 51-year-old Ricardo Castro, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 16, deputies responded to the 29,000 block of Miraroma Drive in Temecula around 9:18am.
Deputies arrived found the male victim suffering from a traumatic stab wound. The suspect had fled the scene.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he remained stable. Detectives later identified him as the suspect in the attack that stabbed Castro.
With the support of the Riverside County Gang Impact Team and the Special Enforcement Bureau K9 team, Castro was located in an empty field area in Temecula and was arrested for attempted murder.

“The incident was determined to be related to domestic violence,” authorities said.
The situation surrounding the stab wound is under investigation. Deputies did not release any information about how the victim was known to Castro.
